Ayushman Bharat, a flagship scheme of Government of India, was released as endorsed by the National Health Policy 2017, to gain the vision of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). This initiative has been designed to fulfill Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its underlining commitment, that is to "leave nobody behind."


Ayushman Bharat is an attempt to circulate from sectoral and segmented method of health service delivery to a complete need-based fitness care service. This schemes goals to undertake path breaking interventions to holistically address the healthcare system (covering prevention, promoting and ambulatory care) at the primary, secondary and tertiary level.

  • The Government of India released the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-PMJAY in 2017. Under this scheme, poor families will get free remedy of Rs five lakh. More than 1 crore sixty three lakh humans have been treated under this scheme.

  • To test your name in Ayushman Bharat Yojana, first go to Ayushman Card website https://www.pmjay.gov.in/.

  • After starting the page, a link will appear at the top right. This link will be am i eligible. Now click on this link.

  • Clicking on this link will open a brand new page asking for some of your facts. Here you have to fill in the captcha code with your mobile number. After supplying this data, you click on the OTP option.

  • OTP will come in your registered cell. After filling this OTP, click on Submit.

  • After this you select your state.

  • After this, you'll see a few categories. You have to select the class in which you want to check your call.

  • It will have the option of name, HHD number, ration card and cell number.

  • You click on one of these to know if your name is in Ayushman Bharat Yojana or not.
